Hooked: Campside Co-founder and Hooked host Josh Dean always hoped that Tony Hathaway’s story would end with him being rehired at Boeing. And it nearly happened. In the beginning, Tony’s life fell apart in the most spectacular way possible. He progressed from Oxy, to heroin, to heroin with his own son, to a bank robbery with that son (resulting in his son’s arrest), to a mind-boggling spree of 30 bank robberies in just over a calendar year, making him one of the most prolific bank robbers in American history. The Truth About Ruby Franke: Infamous co-host Natalie Robehmed on Mormon Mommy vlogger Ruby Franke. This disturbing story grabbed attention when it broke in 2023, but one of the aspects most coverage missed was Ruby’s religious justification for her actions. The Michigan Plot’s Adaptation Journey: Campside Co-founder Adam Hoff on the right time to attach writers and pitch a tv show. Anytime there is a “novel’s worth of character development,” you are thinking TV and deciding how to attack the road ahead. But there was a hidden component to “The Michigan Plot” that nobody listening to the podcast would ever pick up on – nor did it impact the making of the podcast whatsoever – which is that Campside was already working with a writing duo on the television adaptation before the podcast even came out.
