Land ohne Vater - Series Overview
A killing spree that targeted immigrants and a coverup that forced a country to face its past again
When Semiya and Gamze’s fathers are murdered, the German police do something strange: instead of leading an open investigation, they focus their investigation on the families.
Meanwhile the killing spree continues.
By the end, nine men of Turkish, Kurdish and Greek origin are dead. And when Gamze and Semiya find out that an intelligence agent was present during one of the murders, their worst fears are confirmed.
Land ohne Vater roughly translates as “country without a father,” a play on the notion of your fatherland. This is a story about grief, trust and a country blinded by its pledge to overcome the past.
Land ohne Vater is a co-production from Campside Media & Wondery.
